I am Kerry Crawford, anexperienced Edmonton-based website designer & developer and certified teacher. I have a passionate interest in technology and website development, along with extensive experience in direct sales and sales team management. TEACHING:

I am a certified teacher with almost 20 years of classroom experience with Edmonton Public Schools. I have worked in a variety of settings, from the traditional day school classroom, to online (virtual) education, to program facilitation for homeschooling families. I have also worked closely with a variety of ages, from preschoolers to adults. I am flexible and creative in my approach to teaching and mentoring. Everything I have ever done as a teacher/facilitator, from classroom management to professional development, has been geared toward the ultimate goal of helping each student achieve the best results possible.

TECHNOLOGY:

For several years, I worked as an online teacher in a virtual classroom. In this role, I simultaneously developed and delivered online curriculum for the English Language Arts and Social Studies programs, for all students in Grades Ten, Eleven and Twelve, in both the regular and modified streams of programming. During this period of time I became proficient in the use of a variety of online communication and teaching technologies. As a result, online technology in general has become my sustained and passionate interest. I am especially interested in development and training as it relates to websites and e-commerce, and have built a wide variety of effective and functional sites for an equally wide variety of clients.

SALES:

I am highly entrepreneurial by nature, and I have an avid interest in the areas of sales and marketing. Until recently I was an independent sales consultant for a major Canadian direct sales company. In addition to maintaining personal monthly sales of several thousand dollars, I actively recruited and mentored new sales consultants. In my role as sales manager, I lead, trained and motivated a highly successful and growing team of more than 120 fellow consultants across North America.
