A website is only as effective as its ability to be found

If your website is not properly optimized for search, it will not rank well in the search engines. Roughly translated, this means that without basic SEO methods applied to your site, searchers for your product or service will probably never find your website just by typing in a search for it. That's where Search Engine Optimization (SEO) comes in.

What is SEO?

There are many different factors that come together to determine whether or not your site will rank well in the search engines and therefore be found by searchers. SEO is the art/science of manipulating these factors in order to get your site ranked high so that targeted online searchers (people looking for your specific product or service) will find it. 

There are varying degrees of SEO research and methodology that you can pay SEO experts to do for you, but every website should have the following SEO steps taken so that it gets indexed accurately by search engines, and when I build your website, I do these for you: 

• Basic metatags written with targeted common-sense keywords to be effective for search engines and people

2. description tags
3. image alt tags

• Content optimization

1. tweaking of page text to include targeted common-sense keywords
2. site content organized for maximum topic targeting and to make pages easy to find by both people and search engines
